Rolling summary of Omicron evidence, epidemiology and guidance

To inform national efforts in response to COVID-19, HIQA develops evidence summaries and syntheses to answer specific policy questions and topics posed by the National Public Health Emergency Team (NPHET).  

The following reports in relation to the Omicron variant were requested ahead of NPHET meetings that took place during December 2021 and January 2022. These reports were provided to NPHET on 15 December 2021, 5 January and 19 January 2022. Additional epidemiological information was also provided on 19 January 2022 at the request of NPHET.
