As part of the Government’s Climate Action Plan 2021, which sets out the energy and carbon emission reduction targets, HIQA like all public sector bodies has developed a roadmap setting out how we will reach our 51% reduction in Carbon Emissions by 2030 and have a net zero related emissions by 2050.

HIQA has and will continue to work with the Office of Public Works and the SEAI to achieve our goals which are set out in our Decarbonisation Roadmap.

To date, we have achieved significant energy and Co2 emission savings and will continue to work on making further reductions over the coming years.
